Achievements

Current tallies indicate that:

• most of our clones are from more than 400 different human cDNA libraries and 120 mouse cDNA libraries; from which
• over 5 million distinct cDNA clones are now arrayed; from which
• over 3.4 million 5' and/or 3' sequences have been deposited into .
• 175,000 zebrafish clones and 150,000 Xenopus clones (X. laevis and X. tropicalis) have also been arrayed.
• The I.M.A.G.E. Consortium has prepared several rearrayed sets of clones that are available to the community. See I.M.A.G.E. Consortium Resources for more information on the current sets.
• The I.M.A.G.E. Consortium also arrays (Serial Analysis of Gene Expression) libraries as part of the project.
• Over 10,000 clones are sent out to researchers each month.

A variety of methods all indicate that the I.M.A.G.E. Consortium collection is likely to represent over 60,000 distinct human transcripts at this time. You can view our most current human clustering results using the IMAGEne program.
